Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to make an appointment?

No, the GP or consultant referral is not nescessary, we accept self-referrals in our clinic. However, if you do have a referral or any results of tests, X-rays or scans, please do bringing them along as these will help us to diagnose you more accurately.

How long does the appointment last?

Our appointments usually last for an hour. This gives us enough time to assess or reasses you and do the treatment. However, sometimes the sessions might take longer (e.g. Manual Lymphatic Drainage can last up to 1.5hrs) or shorter. Your therapist will discuss the length of the session(s) with you after the first assessment.

What is the cost of the Physiotherapy or Neuromuscular Therapy session?

Our fees are:

  • 30 minutes   € 50
  • 45  minutes  € 65
  • 60 minutes   € 80
  • 90 minutes   € 110

Do you accept card payments?

Yes, we accept both card and cash payments.

What will I need to bring along?

Please wear a mask attending the clinic and bring along 2 towels. If you are attending for hydrotherapy (full body bath, lower body bath or Scottish shower) please bring your swimming costume aswell.

Is the treatment covered with the Private Health Insurance?

If you are attending session with our Chartered Physiotherapist or Neuromuscular therapist you can claim money back depending on your cover. Most insurance companies offer cover for the Physiotherapy.

You can also put your Physiotherapy expenses towards the tax relief with Revenue Ireland.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions you will need is individual and it depends on many factors like your condition or injury, other medical conditions you might have, your age and also your goals.
