About Perfect Therapy
Jana Lalikova came to Ireland 12 years ago from the Czech Republic having worked in a large rehabilitation hospital. Jana has worked in private practice and with sports teams.
Hydrotherapy is utilised much more in the European approach to rehabilitation and recovery, so in 2017 Jana established Perfect Therapy at the Reek’s Gateway in Killarney.
This facility includes 5 treatment rooms, a range of electrotherapy equipment and the highest hospital grade equipment, transported over 2000 km to Killarney, putting Kerry at the forefront of rehabilitation in Ireland.
Jana is not registered in Ireland to use the title “Physiotherapist” or “Occupational Therapist”. Jana is joined in the clinic by Neuromuscular Therapist Gabi Wolreiter.
Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) was established in Ireland in 2000 when a formal course of education was launched at a conference for the Journal of Bodywork and movement therapies (JBMT). The therapy combines a definitive collection of neuromuscular approaches from all over the world that are routinely used in isolation within many therapies. It closely aligns it’s clinical rational with the European approach to rehabilitation and recovery and is focused on the resolution of myofascial pain and dysfunction. NMT is a University recognised profession with options to complete studies to MSc. level.
All treatments are tailored to the individual after an initial assessment and a wide range of therapeutic modalities are available.
